With a modified design, the Rimage Catalyst 6000 and 6000N systems move between the smaller Rimage Professional and larger Rimage Producer systems. For the first time, this series is again available without an integrated control computer, in response to critical environments where non-certified third-party computers are not allowed.
With the airtight system, the air required for cooling is drawn in through a filter system on the front side and expelled through special air slots. This creates an overpressure in the system, which keeps dust and other micro particles out of the system. Especially in industrial applications, such as in print shops or in mechanical engineering, this extends the service life of the devices immensely and reduces the maintenance effort.
With MediaKits specially adapted to the system and additional pay-per-disc or leasing models, the production systems, which are apparently more expensive than inkjet systems, offer a better ROI depending on the application. A detailed consultation or test installation is definitely worthwhile!
